About Us
The first "meeting" of the Edmeston Panther Trax was held at Charles Gelatt's barn on High Street in Edmeston in September 2004. Those in attendance determined to develop ''an Edmeston based" snowmobile club. The next meeting was held in October 2004 at Red Pines Golf Course. Edmeston Panther Trax Snowmobile Club was voted as the club name with Randy Gelatt to be the 1st President of the club.
Meetings have continued to be held on the first Monday of every month. In 2005 the club had over 100 members and maintained 17 miles of funded trail.
The club continues to improve the trail system. In 2008 the club added destination signs at all intersections.
The club promotes Family Fun and Safety as well as supporting the community. Club activities include snowmobile safety courses, safety presentations and contests at Edmeston Central School, parade floats, and club organized rides.
